Additionally, you can right-click on the canvas while using the square eraser tool to access more options such as erasing to transparency or restoring the original pixels. You can modify the size of the eraser, set opacity and blending mode, adjust the hardness of the edges and more in the Tool Options bar.
Once the square eraser tool is selected, you can adjust the size and shape of the eraser by clicking on the Tool Options bar near the top of the screen. The square eraser tool is a very useful tool in Photoshop as it erases a perfect square shape instead of the traditional brush stroke shape of the regular eraser tool. You can also use the shortcut key Shift+E to quickly select the square eraser tool. To get the square eraser tool in Photoshop, click and hold on the eraser tool in the left side tool panel and select the square eraser tool from the drop-down menu.
