

You'll be assigned a series of carefully constructed tasks at each stage as the course progresses to help you consolidate your learning. The course aims to provide an understanding of the core functionality of InDesign, which you will use as a foundation to create basic print publications, such as brochures, newsletters, business cards and advertisements and on which to build additional skills, such as creating e-Books that can be viewed on the Kindle or other ePub reader devices longer print layouts such as multi-chapter books or manuals, or interactive digital publications that include video, sound and slide-shows.ĭuring the course your instructor will teach you the process of setting up a new InDesign document and show you how to add and format text, graphics and other design elements. The classroom-based and online versions are scheduled in alternate months.


The online version of the course is split over two half-day sessions to make it easier for those working from home to fit the course around other commitments. This one-day foundation level Adobe InDesign training course is designed for new users who wish to learn Adobe InDesign and who have little or no previous experience of InDesign or desktop publishing.
